ResearchSentry Demo Store · Effective October 23, 2026
This notice explains how ResearchSentry handles information when you use the demonstration store at researchsentry.com. The catalog, research-access applications and orders are for evaluating the software. Account details and information you submit can still be real personal information. This notice covers this demo store; it does not replace the privacy notice of an independent merchant using ResearchSentry.
Information we collect
Account and contact information: your email address, account identifier and contact-confirmation status. If phone sign-in is offered and you choose to link a number, this also includes your phone number, verification status and transactional SMS consent.
Application information: the name and purchaser category you enter, your stated nonclinical research purpose, and any affiliation, research-location address or supporting evidence reference you provide. Required fields depend on the selected verification level. Use a clear demo research description and non-sensitive test details; do not upload or paste identity documents, government identification numbers, patient information or medical records.
Agreement and review records: your typed signature, acknowledgment responses, agreement wording and version, policy references, timestamps, application decisions and review notes. Records can include your IP address, browser user-agent information and integrity hashes used to associate actions with an account and check the audit trail.
Store and technical records: cart contents, draft-order requests, demo-order details, contact messages, browser and device information, and operational or security logs. Do not enter real card, bank or cryptocurrency information into the demo.
How we use information
We use information to send requested sign-in links and codes, operate accounts, demonstrate application review and product-access controls, associate test orders with the correct user, retain agreement evidence, investigate errors or abuse, and answer support and privacy requests. Confirming an email address establishes access to that inbox; it does not independently verify research qualifications. Requesting a login email does not subscribe you to marketing.
Cookies and browser storage
WordPress, WooCommerce and ResearchSentry use cookies or similar browser storage for sign-in sessions, cart state, the store-entry acknowledgment, short-lived login challenges and security. Blocking these can prevent the demo from working. If you post a public comment or review, the submitted content and profile information may be visible to others. Avoid sharing personal information in public fields.
Service providers and access
Authorized ResearchSentry administrators and developers can access demo information to operate, review and troubleshoot the service. Information is stored on the website’s hosting infrastructure. Amazon Web Services supports hosting and Amazon SES processes email addresses, requested messages and delivery feedback. FluentSMTP connects WordPress email to SES. WordPress and WooCommerce provide the account and store functions.
Jetpack by Automattic is installed and active. Depending on the Jetpack features enabled, Automattic may process visitor, account or technical information for those features. External links or embedded content, if used, are governed by the other provider’s privacy practices. These services may process information in the United States or other locations where they operate.
We may disclose information when needed to comply with applicable legal obligations, respond to lawful requests, protect the service or investigate misuse. This demo does not authorize sharing your application or dispute history in a cross-merchant screening database.
Retention and security
Demo records are not automatically deleted when you close your browser or finish a test. Account, application, agreement, review and test-order records may remain for continued testing, support and security review until removed by an administrator. Contact us to request demo-data cleanup. Some audit records, security records or backups may need to be retained for a legitimate operational or legal reason and may not disappear immediately. We use access controls and available security features, but no online service can guarantee complete security.
Your choices and requests
You can stop using the demo, sign out, and request access to, correction of, export of or deletion of your information by emailing Ruocompliance@gmail.com. We may need to confirm that you control the account before acting on a request. Available rights and exceptions depend on applicable law. Do not send passwords, login codes, identity documents or medical information in your request.
Age, updates and contact
The demo is intended for people aged 21 or older. If you believe someone under 21 has submitted personal information, contact us. We will update the effective date when this notice changes. Questions about this demo or its data practices can be sent to Ruocompliance@gmail.com. Review this notice again before submitting information after an update.
